FAQ 1: Can window tint guarantee privacy?
ANS: Some window tints can provide your privacy. There are different grades of tints available and naturally, those having darker tints will provide the most privacy. Some types of frosted films can also protect your privacy.But on the contrary, reflective films are not the one to choose if you are looking for full privacy protection. It can only provide privacy during the daytime but not when the night comes and the lights inside the room are turned on.
FAQ 2: I have installed window tints on all my glass windows. It has been almost a year but I cannot see any progress. My house is still hot, energy bills are in fact increasing and the sun glare really irritates my eyes. Why is it that the window film can’t seem to work for my glass windows?
ANS: There are many possible reasons for that. One thing is that maybe the films are not installed properly. It could also be because the window films used are of poor quality. Some stores sell films that are thinner than the quality ones, which also means less benefits guaranteed. Now if you are sure that the installation is correct and the window films used are not the substandard ones, it may be because the climate at your place is really hot, or may be you are just consuming much of your electricity in other ways (e.g. using the drier too much, constantly running the air conditioning, etc).
